Review by hotel critic
Hotel Gabriel in Scuol offers a tranquil retreat in the heart of the village, boasting a prime location near the picturesque Inn River. The recently refurbished interiors are immaculate, reflecting an eye for detail and cleanliness that is commendable. Despite the rooms being on the smaller side, they are well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The warm welcome from Mrs Gabriel and the exceptional service from her sons create a hospitable atmosphere.Guests are provided with free local transportation cards, demonstrating a thoughtful touch that adds value to the stay. The breakfast, served in a beautifully appointed room, is of high quality, setting a positive tone for the day. The half-board option, priced at an additional 25 Swiss francs, stands out as a particularly good deal for a delicious four-course dinner. While the room rates may be on the higher end, especially for non-Swiss visitors, the overall value offered by Hotel Gabriel is enhanced by its attentive service, convenient location, and excellent dining options. If you're seeking a peaceful getaway amidst stunning surroundings, this hotel is a solid choice for a memorable Alpine experience.
